It's that time again! The Second Annual Lake County Triathlon, presented by the Lake Property Owners Association and Articulate Promotions, will take place August 9, 2009 in the lovely Paulus Park and is promising success as it has in all years past. As always, this is a fast paced course with intense competition to challenge each athlete to his or her limits.
All athletes can enjoy swimming through the calm, clean waters of Lake Zurich followed by a rigorous bike race throughout the Lakewood Forest Preserve and ending with tough but rewarding run through the streets of Lake Zurich. Lake Zurich has hosted many triathlons over the past decade, and in keeping with tradition, the Lake County Triathlon will utilize the same course it always has.
Upon completion of the race, all competitors will celebrate their victories as the finish line welcomes them with support and celebration. Prizes will be awarded to all participants as well as medals for top-performers.
